Establishment and Evolution
1. Lakhi Ram Arya Anathaley was established in the year 1986. It was registered
with the Registrar of firms and Societies, Haryana on 21-1-1986 under the Societies
Act XXI of 1860 and as amended by Punjab Amendment Act, 1957.
2. This Anathaley was established with the sole aim to uplift the poor and downtrodden
children of all casts and creeds who have been uprooted by nature or any other reasons
from the Main Stream of the Society and to make them useful and self-sufficient
citizens of the country.
3. This Anathaley came into existence practically with effect from 01 June 1996
with an intake of 5 Boys (orphans). This strength continued increasing and today
the strength of boys has risen to 47 boys.
4. Residential Complex-cum-Infrastructure – i) Land-approximately 2.2 Acres ii)
Buildings including Residential accommodation – Ch. Priyevart Bhattewale started
this Anathaley in the name of his father Late Ch. Lakhi Ram, a Philanthropist in
the year 1986. He constructed ground floor at his own cost in 1986-87 to accommodate
25 boys and a room 20’x15’.
Thereafter following buildings have been constructed
1. 1st Floor on Main Building for the Boys to accommodate another 25 boys.
2. 10 Latrines and 8 bath rooms.
3. Covered Bathroom 25’X12’ (Tin Roof).
4. Two store rooms.
5. Yagshala.
6. 2 Room Set with all facilities for a family.
7. A big dining hall size 29.10’X44.8’ and cook house with stores room for Mess
constructed by Ch. Surender Singh and Rajinder Singh S/o Late Ch. Priyavart in the
memory of their beloved mother Late Shrimati Chandrawati at their own cost.
8. Office Building with a guest room attached.
9. Chowkidar Room.
10. Main Gate.
11. Pucca cemented road connecting all buildings in the campus.
12. One Room at 1st floor of Office Building.
13. Generator Room.
14. Basket Ball Ground.
15. Badminton Ground.
16. Foundation stone for 90’X40’ for three storied building was laid on 27 March
2011 by Hon’ble Shri Shadi Lal Batra, Member of Parliament.
