Establishment and Evolution

1. Lakhiram Arya Anathaley Changed name as per the direction and order of Govt. Of Haryana is Lakhiram Arya Jagannath Ashram. Ashram was established in year 1986. It was registered with the Registrar of firms and Societies Haryana on 21.01.1986 under societies Act XXI of 1860 now as amended Act-2012 of Haryana Govt. Amended Act.

2. This Ashram was established with the sole aim to uplift the poor and downtrodden children of all casts and creed who have been uprooted by nature or any reasons from the Main Stream of the Society and to make them useful and self-sufficient citizen of the country and also aware about Yoga, Ayurveda and sports activities.

3. This Ashram came into existence practically with effect from 1 June 1996 with an intake of 5 boys (orphans). This strength continued increasing and today the strength of boys has risen to 46 boys.

4. Residential Complex-cum- infrastructure - i) Land approximately 2.2 Acres ii) Building including residential accommodation - Ch. Priyavart Bhattewale started this ashram in the name of his father Late Ch. Lakhiram, a Philanthropist in the year 1986. He constructed ground floor at his own cost in 1986-87 to accommodate 25 boys and a room 20’x15’.

5. The ashram is on the way for achieving remarkable performance in Education and Sports. One of the boy of the Ashram has gone to Canada for future study. The Ashram bear all the expenses up to the completion of his B. Tech(Civil) from Matu Ram Engineering College Rohtak. The name of the boy is Udit Malik. Aditya Malik and Ankit have also passed their B.Tech. Many boys have passed I.T.I and other Degree courses like B.Sc. Physical Education and in Mass Communication. Our boys named Sahil, Pankaj, Himanshu and Ashish have done a remarkable performance in sports at state level. Ashish Kumar has won a Bronze Medal in Para-Olympics 2023.

6. The Ashram is also registered under JJACT-2015 which also helps us to run the Ashram smoothly.

7. The Ashram Organize work shop regarding personality development and other religious and spiritual programme time to time. The Ashram empathize on ethic-values. *Daily Routine programme.
